The goal of this deck of the major arcana was to take the gendered characters out of it and distill the concepts. These cards can be used in Tarot readings but also as a teaching tool. The original purpose of the major arcana was not about divination, but about understanding ones relationship to the Divine – the journey from unconsciousness to consciousness – from separation to oneness. Instead of a book with lengthy explanations I wrote a poem for each card using the Rispetto poetry form and displayed them on the opposite side. I combined my love for painting birds and bees and writing poetry along with the study of tarot, religion, and other ancient traditions to hopefully create something unique to add to the long history of tarot. Remember, this is the major arcana only with poems on the back. I’ve tried to keep the cost of the deck as low as I can by only marking it up 5%. I’m an individual and not a store or a supplier so I can’t buy the decks in bulk at a low cost and sell them to you at a low cost. One deck is $35.20 plus shipping. I only make $1.55 per deck. But the money is not important to me. If I could give them away for free I would. I just want you to have it!
